The 6 Arsenal players who will miss the Atletico Madrid clash including Eze and Timber

Atletico Madrid and Arsenal face off in the first leg at the Estadio Metropolitano on Wednesday night as each side seeks to get a leg up in the first leg.
The winners of the tie will test their mettle against either Bayern Munich or holders Paris Saint-Germain in what will be a thrilling final either way.
Atletico suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at the Emirates during the league phase earlier this season and will seek revenge against The Gunners who enter the game off the back of another narrow 1-0 win against Newcastle.
Ahead of the game, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will seek to rotate his side after the win over the Magpies as he deals with knocks to Mikel Merino (Ankle/Foot Injury), Jurrien Timber (Groin/Hip/Pelvic Injury), Riccardo Calafiori (Other) and Martin Zubimendi (Illness).
Further up the pitch, Arsenal will miss Eberechi Eze (Other) and Kai Havertz (Groin/Hip/Pelvic Injury) in attack as Arteta relies on Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli, Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus.
Atletico have prevailed in 11 of their last 15 European two-legged ties against English opposition, including all three semi-finals in what will be a worrying statistic for Arteta.
However, Arsenal travel to Madrid having lost just one of their last 11 Champions League away games and even with injuries, should have enough firepower to do some damage to the Spanish giants.
